Youth Innovation Competition on Lancang-Mekong Region's Governance Development — form a team to develop an innovative project addressing challenges in the Lancang-Mekong region with a chance to compete in Wuhan, China.

About the Program

Fudan University, P.R. China, invites PSU undergraduate students to apply for the Youth Innovation Competition on Lancang-Mekong Region's Governance Development (YICMG 2026). Students will form a team to develop an innovative project addressing challenges in the Lancang-Mekong region under the theme, "Resilient Infrastructure, Sustainable Industrialization, and Technological Innovation"

General Qualifications

  • 2–5 persons per group (for PSU Thai and international students)
  • Bachelor's degree students
  • Interested in creating innovations and analyzing problems
  • Fluent in English language
  • Must demonstrate leadership, confidence, adaptability, responsibility, and the ability to think critically
  • Must be in good health, with no serious communicable diseases that would hinder participation

Expenses & Support

  • Fudan University Provides (for 2 students per team): International airfare, accommodation, meals, and local transportation in China
  • Student Responsibility: Domestic travel within Thailand, health insurance, personal expenses, and any costs not covered by Fudan University. Additional team members beyond 2 must cover all expenses themselves.

Program Conditions

  • Students must register for the course 071-N03: Global Perspectives: International Experience and Cross-Cultural Competence via PSU-NEXT U
  • Students selected for the Finals must participate onsite in Wuhan, P.R. China, in July 2026
  • If unable to participate due to unforeseen circumstances, the faculty/campus must submit an official letter to the Global Affairs and Corporate Communication Center
  • Teams participating in the Finals must submit a report within 30 days after the program's conclusion
